Symptom

You get the message "K9 is not compatible with your operating system" or you want to know more about what operating systems that K9 Web Protection is compatible with. 

Solution

K9 is currently compatible with the following operating systems:

• Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit)
• Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
• Windows Vista (32-bit and 64-bit)
• MacOSX 10.7 and up

Note about OSX Lion: Some customers are reporting that after upgrading OSX to Lion, K9 does not work anymore. A simple re-install over the top of the old K9 will fix this. We are investigating why the OSX upgrade breaks K9.

Please Note: We no longer support of Windows 2000 on new releases of K9.  Older versions of K9 may still work.
